CAREER PROGRAMHelping You Get The Most Out Of Your Career
MODULE I – DEFINE YOUR IDEAL JOB AND COMPANY
IV. If You Had A Magic Wand
Science has proven that our consciousness is strongly connected to our material world. You can have whatever you want. You attract everything you have in your life because you are the creator and inventor of your own world. To start the creation process, develop in your mind a clear mental image of what you want.
Here is a ritual you can practice on a daily basis. You can do this when you wake up, before you go to bed or during a break.
If You Had A Magic Wand Guide
Here is a ritual I want you to practice on a daily basis for the next few days. You can do this when you wake up, before you go to bed, or during a break.
Close your eyes for several minutes. Visualize having the job you want. Experience the feelings and experiences you’d like to feel as if you already have that job.
- ASK for what you want.
Make a list of what you want (write it down and add images) for your career. Create what’s called a vision board specifically for your job.
- VISUALIZE and FEEL.
Dr. Denis Waitley, a noted psychologist who trained NASA astronauts and Olympic athletes, says, “When you visualize, then you materialize.” His program was called the Visual Motor Rehearsal. Also in this same mindset, Deepak Chopra talks about the power of “attention” and “intention.”
Now it’s time to surrender, let go and trust. Trust that the universe will manifest that job. Believe you can have it, believe you deserve it, and believe it is possible for you to obtain it. Detach yourself from the past and from the future.
- PRACTICE GRATITUDE.
Practice gratitude. Gratitude is how we should start and end every day. We should also try to remember what we are grateful for during the day.
